Set up HTML Email Signature in Apple OSX Outlook App
Before you start
- You need to have the Outlook app installed on your OSX device
- You need to have your email account set up within the Outlook app
- You need to have access to your HTML email signature file. This can be opened from your email on the device if it’s been sent to you.

Instructions
- Open the email signature delivery file on your OSX device. If we have delivered your HTML Email Signature files, you can use the “Preview link” to open the email signature in your web browser.
- When the email signature is opened, on your keyboard press the keys CMD + A (together) to select all and then CMD + C (together) to copy the entire signature.
- Open the Outlook app and select Outlook -> Preferences from your toolbar.
- Select Signatures, and create a new signature using the + button.
- Press CMD + A together to choose the current signature graphics and CMD +V together to paste the signature you’ve copied.
- After pasting, open the pasting clipboard icon and choose Keep Source Formatting, this will keep the new signature format as is, and won’t revert the signature back to the default format.
- Close the signature editing window and assign the signature to the relevant user on the Account dropdown menu.
- Close your settings and compose a new email. Your email signature will automatically appear when writing an email.
- Compose a New Email to see your email signature. You’ll want to test it thoroughly before sending out any emails to other recipients.
